01. The Conversation
Every portrait begins with a conversation. We'll discuss your vision, preferred size, composition, and the feeling you'd like the finished painting to evoke.
02. The Reference
We'll select photographs that best capture the subject's likeness and personality. Depending on the project and availability, an in-person reference session may also be arranged.
03. The Painting
Using traditional oil painting techniques, I carefully develop the portrait through observation, layered color, and thoughtful brushwork.
04. The Finished Work
Once complete, your original painting will be prepared for pickup or carefully packaged for shipping, ready to become part of your home and story.
